Colony Tram

After a visit to Museum de Proefkolonie you also want to see where all the beautiful things in the landscape can still be seen. You can do this on a bicycle or on foot, but on Sundays we also offer you the option to take a tour of the area with the Colony Tram. You can see the colony houses, the colony church, the Forestry School, Westerbeek House, the Post Office and Logement. The tour lasts about an hour and is accompanied by a guide. Tickets can be picked up at the counter. Reservation is not necessary.

The colony tram makes a weekly tour on Sundays. During the holidays also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Departure at 1.30 pm from the parking lot at the museum. Tickets cost €4 p.p. and are available at the counter. You cannot reserve the tickets in advance.
